  • $20 check or money order made out to KY State Treasurer
  • Fingerprints not required
  • KSP allows the general public to obtain an adult criminal history on individuals with their permission. This process can be completed by mail or walk-in at our physical location. For mail submission, it takes an average of 10 business days to complete.

  • Effective 4/5/2023, the fee charged by IdentoGo for fingerprinting will increase from $18.00 to $20.00
  • Fingerprints required
  • Organizations or agencies that have a statutory requirement to conduct fingerprint based State and FBI criminal background checks are authorized to be fingerprinted at an IdentoGo location.
  • Fingerprinting services are available at IdentoGo locations across KY.  Go to https://uenroll.identogo.com/ to find a location near you.
  • For questions regarding fingerprinting, please contact the requesting Agency or Board.
  • Please be advised that any fingerprinting fee charged by a law enforcement agency, up to $10, is in addition to the IdentoGo and background check fee required by your requesting Agency.

  • Fingerprinting services are available at IdentoGo locations across KY. Go to https://uenroll.identogo.com/ and select FBI History Check or Fingerprint Cards depending on your Agency’s requirements. Please direct questions to the requesting Agency regarding their fingerprint result requirements.
